We are constantly fine-tuning our service department in an effort to meet the individual needs of our customers. Our techs are all certified in appliance repair and attend regular training to stay proficient in the ever-changing arena of appliance technology.

History of Callahan's Appliance Service
Callahan’s Appliance was founded in 2007 by John Callahan, but the roots of the company go back much further than that.
John grew up in the appliance repair industry. From the time he could walk, he was helping repair appliances and televisions alongside his father, who owned a repair company on Long Island. Even before that, the family had been working in home service trades for generations. John’s grandfather repaired oil burners that heated homes in the early 1900s, and later partnered with family to sell appliances as well. Serving customers and keeping homes running has simply always been part of the Callahan family.
When John started Callahan’s Appliance in North Texas, it was truly a one-man operation. He scheduled his own customers, ordered his own parts, performed the repairs, and handled the billing. In many ways he was the customer service department, technician, and office all in one.
As the Dallas–Fort Worth area continued to grow, so did the demand for reliable appliance service. Callahan’s Appliance expanded by bringing in family and trusted friends, creating the strong sense of teamwork and loyalty that still defines the company today.
That culture remains one of our greatest strengths. We believe in providing exceptional service to our customers while also supporting the people who make that service possible. It’s a collaborative environment where everyone works toward the same goal: delivering honest, dependable repairs and exceeding customer expectations.
John and his wife Sue remain deeply involved in the company and are familiar faces in the office. Sue has played a major role in shaping and maintaining the company’s positive culture, making sure employees feel valued and supported. John brings decades of hands-on experience in the appliance repair industry and remains an invaluable source of knowledge for the entire team.
